As part of our Flight topic, we have temporarily moved from flight in nature to mechanised flight and are beginning to discover the 4 forces of flight and complete experiments to help us understand them more. We are learning about Daniel Bernouilli, aerodynamic shapes, lift, thrust, weight, drag and the effects of air pressure.
Mrs Hughes, a year 7 classroom assistant, led us through 2 very useful experiments to show air pressure at work. You can see from the photographs how interactive the experience was and how interested the children were. We really appreciate having an expert in our midst - thanks you again, Mrs Hughes!
