Year 7 Cross Country Trials.
After a 7:30am course inspection, Mr. McWilliams declared the course as ‘fit for purpose’ and that the Year 7 Cross Country Trials could proceed.
Rain, a cool wind, lots of muck underfoot meant it was the perfect conditions for our pupils to tackle the 1,400metre course. Pupils were striving to finish in the top 20 of each race to gain selection for the school’s cross country teams.
We congratulate all who braved the elements, ran the course and those who were successful in gaining selection to the team. Despite the wind and rain, I think most of our pupils enjoyed their races.
Thanks to Mr. McWilliams for organising and running today’s event. Enjoy the photo gallery.
