Year 7 Cross Country Trials.
Despite the early morning downpour, the Year 7 cross country trials proceeded today on the front pitches. With lots of mud, a few puddles, a cold wind and cheering pupils the conditions were almost perfect for the runners as they made their way around the 1200metre course.
We congratulate all pupils who took part. To those who won, who came in the top 3 and who made it onto the cross country teams - well done. 👏👏👏
Our thanks to Mr. McWilliams for setting up the course and for its smooth running. We also thank the pupils from Room 29 who marshalled, set out cones, held finishing tape and who rode bicycles before they were eventually overtaken.
Pupils and parents will be notified in coming days of the date and times of the East Belfast Cross Country competition that our school will be taking part in.
