Working in conjunction with the PTA at the Summer Fair, our Year 7 pupils raised over £700 for new school resources through their various business initiatives.
This ‘legacy money’ has been quickly spent with a set of class sports bibs being delivered to each room today (pupils love them as they fit and are clean!) as well as a multi-block IPad charger for each room to charge the new IPads.
It is great that these resources are in rooms so quickly and being used by this year’s pupils who raised the money but they will also be important resources for next year’s P7 pupils.
A small amount of money is going to be spent on some planting pots for the garden which will be engraved “ Year 7 Class of 2018- 19 Strandtown P.S. “
