Year 7 had a very inspiring careers visit this morning from Capt. Michael Montgomery, a pilot with Fly Be. Michael told the pupils about what a day in the life of a pilot consists of, how to become a pilot, showed videos of one of his planes landing in London and Belfast City airports as well as answering some questions from the pupils.
This was a very informative morning for our pupils who learnt so much about the flying industry. Our hope is that a seed might have been planted in the minds of our pupils that might one day lead to one of them becoming a pilot.
The Year 7 staff would like to thank Michael Montgomery for giving of his time this morning to speak to our pupils at the careers assembly. You were inspirational.
