Wow! What an incredible day. Some of the Year 7 classes were lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work with the Institution of Civil Engineers NI, to build a bridge in our school assembly hall. The children constructed a 15m cable bridge together, assisted by these civil engineering ambassadors. The pupils were then invited to walk across the bridge, when it was safe and secure to do so. We learned about bridges around us locally, about health and safety requirements and how to solve problems and work effectively as a team. We think you will be impressed by the finished result...
