Year 6 'Strandtown's Got Talent'
Where would you find an orchestra, ballerinas, ventriloquists, comedians, pianists, flautists, dancers and singers all in the same place? No, not a Stormont Christmas party. It's Year 6 'Strandtown's Got Talent'!
So after numerous classroom auditions, our eight winning acts had the opportunity to perform in front of all the Year 6 pupils and their teachers. A tough judging panel was assembled and were blown away by the quality and variety of the acts on show.
After some heated discussions, our winner was selected...and what a worthy winner! He played a beautiful rendition of Beethoven's 'Fur Elise' wowing pupils, staff and judges alike. And he now has £25 of Café Mauds vouchers to spend on milkshakes, ice cream, chocolate cake etc. The question is, will he share it with anyone or enjoy every penny on himself?
Well done to everyone who auditioned and performed. It takes great courage and nerves of steel to stand up in front of so many people and perform so amazingly. I was so impressed!
