We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Mrs Hetherington from the Ulster Orchestra into our Year 6 Assembly this week. She serenaded our pupils into the hall and then proceeded to talk the boys and girls all about her profession as a cellist for the Ulster Orchestra. The pupils had the opportunity to listen to her play as well as learning about different musical styles, tone, dynamics and pitch. What a wonderful experience for our Year 6 pupils! We hope it has inspired many of our pupils to maybe take up a musical instrument.
