World Book Day - Thursday 7 March
In anticipation of World Book Day on Thursday 7th March, the teachers are currently planning a number of exciting activities for the pupils to take part in.
This year we are asking all pupils to bring their favourite fiction (story) book with them to school along with a prop to represent a character from the book e.g. a bar of chocolate to represent Charlie from 'Charlie and the Chocolate factory' or a toy spider to represent Charlotte from 'Charlotte's Web.' Please don't feel the need to go out and buy a prop; instead we'd love you to encourage your child to search for or make something at home.
We are not asking the children to dress up this year. Over the next few days teachers will be talking more about this much anticipated day in our school calendar.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement of your child.
