The pupils in R6 started their Art project today. They linked up with an artist called Mr Livingstone who was working in his studio in Spain. The pupils gathered some natural materials from outside and waited with excitement for the fun to begin. Each week a different material will be investigated. Today the pupils used charcoal to make rubbings of the objects from outside. Mr L showed the pupils a video showing how charcoal is made. In pairs the pupils created a forest scene using charcoal. Have a look at the pupils in action. Lots of messy hands and faces!
A great 1st session! "I loved it,it was fun!" stated one the pupils.
