'Children should be seen and not heard' was the maxim, and there definitely was a more sombre mood in the playground as Year 7 lined up, boys and girls separately, in the playground this morning.
Room B4 enjoyed Art Appreciation and Drawing, Physical Training, Cursive Writing and Mathematics - with four different teachers, a taste of things to come. Lunches were wrapped in paper and tied with string - and many thanks for the lumps of coal and bundles of twigs for the schoolroom fire.
