Two of our Year 5 pupils had some really interesting things to share during our 'Hats Off To You Day' to finish our anti bullying week of "We Choose Respect"!
NEWS ! The invention of the top hat is often erroneously credited to a haberdasher named John Hetherington. John is actually an ancestor of one of our pupils in Room 23!!! In addition to that another pupil from Room 23 brought in a top hat which is approximately 100 years old !!! Absolutely fascinating stuff, thank you children for sharing & a huge thank you to parents/guardians for bringing this to our attention.
