This was a comment from one of our Year 7 eco warriors as we walked home from our clean up of the North Road section of the Greenway. A big thank you to Jacqueline of the Greenway Association and the volunteers who came to help us. We found lots of bottles, cans, rubbish, plastics, wrappers and discarded junk and, as you can see, filled quite a few bags with recyclable and landfill refuse. We hope to revisit this activity later in the year, in the summer term, taking longer and completing a more thorough clean up, but for now... remember (the eco code), refuse (to litter), reuse, recycle, repair, reduce, respect, restore, rethink.
