Terrific trebuchets in Year 6

Our Year 6 pupils have been inspired to build mini medieval trebuchets as part of an 'Apprentice' style STEM investigation. 'Measure twice, cut once' has been our mantra for the past week. Classrooms have been a hive of activity with saws, hand drills, mitre blocks and glue guns all in use. With the construction complete, the next task was to test them for accuracy and distance.
