In Strandtown, we are always delighted to learn of pupils who take up new sports that they have never tried before. Lola and Lucy only recently started to play table tennis in school (Wednesday mornings 8am!!) and we were delighted to share their success at Year 7 assembly this morning. Both girls were awarded 'Foundation Certificates' to mark their progress to date by their coach Gervis Knox.
We hope that this could be the start of a long and successful table tennis career for both girls. Congratulations Lucy and Lola.
