Success For Talented Year 7 Cross Country Runner At Stormont.
We are always delighted to learn about and recognise our pupils amazing talents both inside and outside of the classroom.
Last Saturday, when most people were talking about a storm called Ciara, our successful Room 32, Year 7 pupil was storming around the Stormont Estate and making her name known in the local cross country scene.
She came a fantastic second out of 161 athletes in the Primary School Cross Country Championships held at Stormont. This was an amazing achievement and we look forward to our talented athlete achieving more silverware and medals as she represents Strandtown in cross country running in coming weeks and months.
Very well done indeed.ππππThis success will be further celebrated in Year 7 assembly tomorrow. We hope to hear from our silver medalist who comes from a very strong running family and club.
Quote of the Day - Running is not about how far you have gone but how far you have come!π€
