8 very excited girls arrived back in Strandtown this afternoon after winning Section B of the Belfast Netball Finals competition held in Lisburn. Drawn against Fullerton, St. Ita’s, Holy Rosary and St. Joseph’s the girls finished in 1st place claiming the gold medal in their group.
Our thoughts are also with Sophie Castles who missed the celebrations back in school as she was having a finger x-rayed at hospital. We hope to catch up with Sophie tomorrow and add her photo to the gallery.
Thanks to Ms. Hutchman and Mrs. Horgan who both coached, supported and accompanied the girls at their competition.
