Everyone at Strandtown was delighted to learn that the success of The Daily Mile within our school has been recognised at a national, UK level.
The Head of the Daily Mile, Kerry Davis, visited Strandtown in June 2019 to experience The Daily Mile firsthand and to talk to pupils in a focus group about their experiences of it. So impressed was she on her visit that she asked the Senior Leadership Team within the school if the Strandtown Daily Mile story could be told and celebrated at a National level.
