Strandtown Welcomes ABAANA ‘New Life’ Choir. (Uganda)
Today was an amazing experience for our Strandtown pupils as they got to see the ABAANA ‘New Life’ choir perform in our assembly hall. The choir sang, danced, played musical instruments and filled the room with so much energy and happiness. Everyone who saw the choir perform was touched by their enthusiasm and passion for life!
As well as performing for our pupils, the children learned of the wonderful work ABAANA does in Uganda. This charity works with street children and improves the lives of so many people through providing education and running water.
All pupils will have the opportunity to contribute to this charity through our ‘Fitness Freddy’ sponsored sessions on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
One of the highlights of their performance was when some members of staff and pupils had the opportunity to perform with the choir.
