On Tuesday morning, Strandtown welcomed from Kenya, Provost Sammay Wainaina,Mrs Loise Githire, Rev. Roger Thompson and Rector Steed to our school. As well as receiving a tour of the school, meeting the school council, listening to our senior choir, our visitors also told some of our Year 7 pupils how the £2000 we raised in 2015 had been spent in building/refurbishing a new school in Kenya. Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed our international visitors and the message they brought to our school.
