Strandtown Pupils Continue To Shine Brightly, even in Darker Days.

This morning, our school council came together to celebrate the kindness and generosity of our pupils in recent weeks.

Following on from our Fitness Freddy Energy Fitness Challenge, our pupils have raised £, 6,056.61 which will be donated to 4 very worthy charities. (Cancer Focus NI, British Deaf Association NI, Dr Barnardos and S.O.S. Children's Village.)

During these difficult, challenging days for all of us, we hope that this news from Strandtown P.S. helps to lift the spirits of those connected to our school and to those who will benefit directly from the work of our chosen charities.

As Anne Frank once wrote, "No one ever became poor by giving!"

Well done Strandtown pupils and parents for such generosity and for showing such compassion.
