Strandtown PS was delighted to learn of the outstanding success of one of their Year 7 pupils. This amazing, talented girl was recently crowned Under 18 Junior Chess Champion after competing in a competition at Methodist College Belfast.
The troph this Room 16 pupil won was amazing to see as her success was celebrated with her peers in Assembly.
Congratulations are extended to this girl and her family and we will continue to watch her progress with interest.
