During this week poppies, pencils, rubbers, rulers etc are being sold to raise money for the Poppy Appeal. At this time of year, we encourage our pupils to think about and remember those who died during many conflicts so that we might have freedom today. Some classes are studying the poem ‘Flanders Fields,’ some have been drawing and making their own poppies, some have been watching Newsround and completing interactive quizzes while other pupils have been carrying out their own research.
