Strandtown friends & family, you rock!
A huge "THANK YOU" to all of our Strandtown family & friends. Our summer fair on Saturday was a fabulous success, together you helped raise the princely sum of £5505 for our school! This is an amazing boost to our fundraising efforts to provide much needed resources & facilities for our Strandtown children.
A special thank you to the parents who helped set up the fair on Friday, who turned bags & bags of stuff into beautifully laid out stalls & to everyone who helped on the stalls at the fair and stayed behind to help us tidy up & put the school back together again. Thank you to everyone who took considerable time & effort to bake for the sale, so much appreciated, they looked & tasted so good! Thank you to everyone who sent in toys, books, pre loved uniform and items for the Tombola and of course to those who donated the super raffle prizes, your contribution made the fair the success it was . To all of you, thank you so much, you made it happen!
Our next & final event for this school year is the fun run on Friday 14th June at Shortt's Social Club. Details soon on the school website, notes home with your child and on our Facebook page "Friend of Strandtown PTA". See you there.
