Strandtown Congratulate Table Tennis Coach on his BBC Award.

Everyone at Strandtown was delighted to learn that our table tennis coach, Gervis Knox,has been awarded the tittle of 'BBC Sports Personality of the Year - Unsung Hero Award.'

Gervis received this award for his contribution to developing table tennis, at all levels across N.Ireland. We can all certainly see the fruits of his labour in Strandtown. 

We wholeheartedly congratulate Gervis and send him our best wishes as he goes to Liverpool for the main Sports Personality of the Year Awards. We will all be supporting you on the night!
