Wow! Strandtown was an amazing place to be today as the whole school took on the theme of 'Where's Wally' for World Book Day. Everywhere you looked there were pupils dressed up as this famous fictional character. Beside desks, under desks, in corridors, in cupboards, in assembly hall, in the library, computer suite etc. etc. etc. Many activities in the classrooms and corridors helped to focus the whole school on reading and the joys and benefits of it.
Thank you to all the parents and pupils who put so much time any effort into their costumes for today. All this, despite the 'Beast from the East!'
