Fitness Freddy will be visiting Strandtown on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th February 2019 to help the school council with their charity fundraising.
This year the school council have decided to choose 4 charities that they wish to support. All money raised will be shared between:-
- Angel Wishes - a charity that supports children and young people who are currently suffering from cancer
- Tiny Life - supporting premature babies.
- ABAANA - supporting, educating and meeting the practical needs of children in Africa.
- Guide Dogs for the Blind NI.
The ABAANA children’s choir will be visiting Strandtown on Monday 25th February2019.
All pupils will be asked to raise a small amount of sponsor money to take part in the ‘Fitness Freddy Health and Fitness Challenge.” As well as receiving a certificate, all children will know that they will have helped improve the lives of some people in our world through their enjoyment of this session.
