At its meeting on Thursday, the school council unanimously decided that 'Toilet Twinning' will be our school's chosen charity for the Spring term. The school council were shocked to learn that in our world 2.4 billion people do not have a loo and that every minute, a child under the age of five dies because of dirty water and poor sanitation. All money raised at the 'Strandtown's Got Talent' concert will go to this very worthwhile cause. Well done the school council on their choice of charity.
