Sal's Shoes Charity Appeal.

Dear Parents

The school council have agreed to support a proposal from the PTA to support a charity called ‘Sal’s Shoes.’ This charity looks to recycle old shoes by passing them onto children overseas who do not have any footwear of their own. As a result, these children suffer many terrible injuries, diseases and illnesses. If you have any shoes, sandals, flip flops, trainers etc that your children have out grown, please send them into school with your child so as they can be passed on to this very worthy charity. By doing this we can help in a small way some of the 300 million barefooted children worldwide.
All footwear should be sent to Room 34 or placed in the box in the black and white hall with an elastic band attaching the matching footwear together.
