Year 5 classes Room 15 & Room 21 went to the Ulster Transport Museum on Tuesday 30 April. The children got the opportunity to get up close with the Soyuz capsule. They also got to see Tim Peakes Sokol KV-2 emergency spacesuit, the space antenna, interactive displays about the international space station & life in space. All children in Year 5 will be visiting the Museum over the next few weeks. This visit links well with our WAU topic & has already created excitement among the children.
