Remembrance at Strandtown Primary School
9th Nov 2018
The 978 pupils of Strandtown Primary school commemorated the centenary of the Armistice by painting poppy stones and making wreaths to help them understand and remember the sacrifice made by so many in the Great War of 1914-18.
Many pupils have also researched family connections with the war and completed write-ups from their findings. Parents and grandparents have also found out things they didn't know before!
