Preparing To Commemorate Armistice Day in Strandtown.
8th Nov 2018
Preparations are continuing in school as we prepare to commemorate Armistice Day on Friday with our whole school art display. In addition to this, the pupils from Room 13 have made a huge poppy out of napkins and chicken wire - this is on display outside the staff room. Pupils have been painting poppies on stones and some children have been making wreaths out of plastic. Poppies, rubbers, pencils, reflectors etc have also been sold in school as children have contributed to the poppy appeal fund.
“We will remember them.”
