The teaching and development of hockey in Strandtown has received a welcome boost in recent weeks through the kind actions of a local company, ‘Naked Hockey.’ Directed by two former pupils and present parents (Mark Raphael and Jamie Steele) Strandtown were delighted to receive four hockey sticks to raffle and raise funds for hockey development, as well as receiving 60 hockey balls kindly paid for by the PTA.
In coming months (when the weather is warmer) we look forward to welcoming Jamie and Mark back to school to run some coaching sessions with our pupils.
