This morning we welcomed Sean from Mencap to Strandtown to collect a cheque for £250. Unfortunately, Mencap were unable to be present at our 'Disability Awareness' assembly but we were delighted that Sean was able to meet some of our school councillors this morning and spend some time with them. Sean was keen to hear how his charity had been chosen as well as explaining how the money raised would be used by Mencap.
Again we thank Maggie, Bea, Abigail and Pippa for representing our school so well this morning.
