Pupils in Room B3 have been both challenged and inspired in their mathematical thinking as they have used IZAK 9 within their numeracy lessons. In this lessons they faced 2 challenges. Any parent may wish to try them and send your answers to Mr. Ewart with your child.( There might even be a prize!)
Challenge 1 - Can you make 3 rows of 3 digits numbers that will total 900 when added together? Can you find 9 different combinations?
Challenge 2 - Can you make a magic square where each horizontal, diagonal and vertical row equal the same amount using the digits 1-9?
