The school council welcomed one of our local MLAs to Strandtown this afternoon. Chairperson, Rachel Carson wrote to Chris Lyttle as part of a celebrity writing project. Chris sent Rachel a lovely reply and it was great to have Chris sit in on one of our council meetings. Chris spoke about his time in Strandtown as a pupil and his work now as an MLA.
The school council likes to maintain close links with our PTA and it was great to have Mrs. K.Larmour attend our meeting and to maintain that relationship through her input.
