On Monday morning we were delighted to welcome Laurence and Luke to our Year 7 assembly for the presentation of awards at the end of the Healthy Heart programme.
As well as the awards,Laurence spoke to the pupils about good diet, exercise, ambitions, good mental health, target setting and the importance of living out your own identity in life. Laurence also shared his personal story and spoke about the importance of his faith in his life.
We were all privileged to hear him sing two songs including Perfect by Ed Sheeran.
All pupils received a healthy heart key ring, a water bottle, booklet, VIP card and a certificate.
We would encourage all parents to talk to their children about the Life Guards Healthy Heart programme.
