Letter from Principal: Collection at Afterschool Clubs
Dear Parents
I am writing to strongly appeal to you for a considered approach to collection at afterschool clubs from the front of the school.
From my previous two communications we have seen no improvement in the number of vehicles coming into the school to park at 4pm.
Cars are parking on the turning circle, both sides of the drive-way, parking on our pitches and parking on pedestrian paths. Parents and pupils are walking down the drive-way and not using the path.
The front of the school has been designed for pedestrian safety and that is now been put at risk by too many vehicles trying to come onto site.
Please do not park along the drive-way unless in the layby and please do not park on the pitches or footpath, even partially.
If the situation does not improve within the next fortnight, I will reluctantly have to close the North Road gates between 3.50pm and 4.30pm in the interest of pedestrian safety.
I would appreciate your full co-operation with this important issue.
Kind regards
Mrs Hutchinson
