Knock Drama came to school last week to present Miss McCreery and the Music Department with a piano stool, music stands and an iPad Pro. The PTA were able to buy these items with the funds raised when Knock Drama generously donated the proceeds from one of their panto shows to the PTA fund. Along to present the items was Edward Thompson (ex Strandtown pupil and one of the panto’s stars) and Janice Thompson (ex PTA Chair and wig wearer extraordinaire). They were joined by 2 pupils who also played parts in the show. On behalf of the Music Dept. and the whole of Strandtown School, the PTA want to extend their gratitude to everyone at Knock Drama for this generous donation. Watch out for their panto next Christmas – it’s always great to support local drama.
