Important Message from the Principal
25th Sep 2019
Dear Parents
The pupils are settling very well into their school routines and it is hard to believe September is drawing to a close.
If I could just reiterate a few important points for pupils’ arrival and movement around school. These are particularly important as we move into colder weather and darker morning.
- Please note pupils are to arrive to school for 8.45am. A number of pupils are now arriving to the playground before 8.30am. We ask that no pupils are to be on the school site before 8.30am, unless in Breakfast Club. Breakfast Club arrivals are not to be at school before 8.00am.
- If you find any of the doors to the wings closed, please do not knock or signal for these to be opened; access at this point is through the front door.
- Please endeavour for punctuality. A number of pupils are arriving between 8.45am and 9.15am and missing the key aspects of the morning routine.
- We are trying to encourage pupils to use the pedestrian paths around school and would appreciate your support in reinforcing this on arrival and collection. This includes not running down the banks or using the driveway gates as a pedestrian access point.
As always, thank you for your co-operation and support with these matters.
Regards,
Mrs Hutchinson
