Strandtown PS welcomed Kerry Davis (Team Manager of Daily Mile Foundation) to school on Wednesday morning. Kerry was accompanied by two lecturers from Stranmillis University College for her visit. (Dr. B. McConnell and Dr. B. Richmond).
Our visitors observed the pupils enthusiastically participating in the Daily Mile. They then met with some of our Y7 pupils in the library to hear their views on the benefits of such regular exercise in school.
It is always lovely to welcome visitors to our school and to hear them being so complimentary of our pupils and what we do in school. This was another such occasion.
Thank you to Rooms 13 and 34 for showcasing their athletic skills this morning. Keep on running!! 😀
