Further Update: Important Health Notice
5th Mar 2020
In light of Coronavirus and indeed to avoid the spread of germs generally, we are making extra efforts in school in relation to health and hygiene. To assist us, please
- do not send sick children to school. If pupils arrive in school with a bad cold or flu-like symptoms, have a fever or are coughing and sneezing, we will contact you and ask you to collect them.
- we would suggest that pupils carry a travel-size hand sanitiser and that you show them how to use it. We do understand that these may be difficult to acquire due to short supplies at present.
- make sure your child comes to school with tissues. A cough or a sneeze must be done into the tissue, or at least cover mouth and nose with hands, then wash them.
- The children are reminded in class and with various posters around the school, the importance of safe hand washing. Remind them to wash hands after toileting, before eating and after a sneeze or cough.
Thank you for your cooperation.
