On Wednesday 14th June 2017, Strandtown Eco Club attended the finals of the Wheelie Big Challenge, held in the Long Gallery at Stormont.
The children’s entry came in second place which is an amazing achievement for the Eco club’s first year participating.
The children won £300 for the Eco Club at school and had an amazing morning at Stormont, where they chatted to other schoolchildren about their eco initiatives and got lots of good ideas for the Strandtown garden and school environment.
Well done to the children and a big thank you, as always, to all our hard working volunteers!
