Dance Fever at Lanyon Place
On Wednesday morning, 29 very excited Year 6 pupils (and teacher!) from Room 35 made their way to Lanyon Place to take part in an '80s themed public dance performance alongside pupils from St Marys P.S. After 6 weeks of rehearsals with Eileen, Janie and Rachel, their dance instructors from 'Young at Art', they were ready for their big moment. Cheered on by parents, teachers, representatives from Translink, 'Young at Art' and Belfast's new 'Glider' service as well as bemused members of the public, the boys and girls from Mr Devine's class wowed the crowds with 2 fantastic, contemporary dance routines to 'Chariots of Fire' and 'Footloose'. What a fantastic experience for all the pupils and for everyone involved. You made us all proud!!! #gottacutloose
