Congratulations to Rosie, one of our Year 7 pupils who was crowned U11 Irish swimming champion at the weekend in Dublin. Rosie beat stiff competition to win the 50metre front crawl in a time of 30.73 secs. She also went on to win a silver medal in the final of the 50 metre butterfly in a time of 33.64 secs.
Everyone in Strandtown is delighted for Rosie and we wholeheartedly congratulate Rosie on this outstanding double achievement. An excellent good news story for a Monday morning!
