Children’s Online Behaviour event with Wayne Denner
In response to parent feedback and questionnaires we have arranged for Wayne Denner to come to Strandtown and speak to parents about children’s online behaviour. This acclaimed author and expert in this field will help parents understand the impact “Online Reputation” has on their child’s education, relationships and employability. Additionally, helping parents keep up with the digital world and social media platforms.
The event will run from 7.00pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday 14 November 2018. This is strictly an adult only event and we have offered places to parents in Year 5 to Year 7. We are now able to offer spaces to parents of Year 4 pupils. As spaces are limited please complete the slip sent home with your child. If you have misplaced this letter, please send a note to your child’s class teacher indicating your child's name, room number and confirming that you will be attending on Wednesday 14 November at 7pm.
At this evening there will be an opportunity to meet some “Parent Super Users” to ask questions about our app, notifications and merging calendars. They will be available from 6.45pm to give support and answer questions.
I look forward to seeing you at this important event.
