Ahead of our Easter Assembly, the school council were delighted to welcome Mrs. Gaye Kerr (founder of Angel Wishes) to Strandtown to receive a charity cheque. This money was raised back in March as part of the Fitness Freddy Energy Fitness Challenge.
Gaye spent a lovely 30 minutes with our pupils hearing about the work of our school council as well as of their charity interests. Gaye, thanked the school council for the cheque and told the pupils how the money would be used by the charity in coming weeks.
This was a lovely time for our school councillors who once again represented our school so admirably.
