Today our boys' hockey team was crowned Belfast Champions at a sun-drenched Belfast Harlequins. The A team finished the tournament deserved winners having played 5 games won 5 scored 12 and conceded 0. Congratulations to all of the boys on their success and a special mention to Michael Girvin who was awarded Player of the Tournament and to Ewan Hutchinson who scored 8 goals during the tournament.
Our B team also performed superbly well making it all the way to the semi finals where they lost to Strandtown A team. In the group stage the B team defeated Campbell A team and drew with Methody and Gilnihirk A teams. Fantastic results boys!
After the medal ceremony, the boys made their way back to school and then onto Café Mauds, Ballyhackamore for a well deserved ice cream. (Thank you Mr. Dowdall)
Strandtown now progress to the N.I. Finals which will be held at Play Ball Stormont on Monday 8th April, 2019.
