A huge well done to all the children and staff throughout our wonderful school who have contributed towards our school sensory garden, eco-garden and other outdoor areas. Lisa from 'Belfast in Bloom' presented some of our children with a prize, our framed certificate and a beautifully crafted planting box that has been made locally.
Our return from lockdown last year saw lots of engagement with nature throughout the school and gardening, planting and nurturing became a therapeutic learning experience for lots of us. It is wonderful to receive recognition for the efforts that were and are being made.
We are excited for what Spring brings in Strandtown!
