Strandtown had 2 teams entered at the Everybody Active tournament this year and each played 4 difficult matches in the round robin section. Our A team went on to win the semi-final by a comfortable lead, before coming runners up in the final to an incredibly strong (and very tall) team from Our Lady of Lourdes. Brilliant team work was shown by both teams. I am incredibly proud of all of those who were on the court today for their tenacity, hard work and sporting attitude. The Lord Mayor was there too and we might be featured in his round up of the day on the Belfast City Council Twitter Account.
